UTILITIES – WATER, SEWER, TRASH:

Carroll Utilities bills you for water, sewer, residential trash, and storm water utility fee.

Payment Options

To set up your services with Carroll Utilities, you will need to call us at 712-792-1000 to set up an appointment with a service technician.

• Water is based on your usage each month and is measured in cubic feet.
  • For the current rate schedule for water, please click here
• Sewer is based on your water usage and is measured in cubic feet. Sewer is NOT billed on “irrigation” meters used for outdoor purposes.

• Residential trash is billed on your Carroll Utilities bill. Two haulers, Carroll Refuse and Ray’s Refuse, provide garbage pickup to all residential customers. Your hauler is listed on your utility bill and should be contacted regarding any garbage related issues. The City only collects the monthly fee and then pays the hauler.

• Every residential property is billed $3.00/month for the storm water utility fee. This helps maintain the storm water system in the City of Carroll

Moving out? Please call us at 712-792-1000 BEFORE
you move out to set up a stop date for service. You will need to set an appointment with a service technician to turn off your service so your final bill can be generated.
