The Arthur N. Neu Municipal Airport was established at its current location in the 1940s. The airport has grown to be one of the busiest in Western Iowa with approximately 700 landings per month. The airport currently has two paved and lighted runways: Runway 13/31 is 5500’ x 100’ with registered instrument approach and non-directional beacon. Runway 3/21 is 3300’ x 60’. The airport also currently has hangar space for 24 airplanes.
The Airport Commission is appointed by the Council to manage the airport operations. The Commission consists of five (5) registered voters of the City to serve a 6-year term.
The Commission has contracted with Carroll Aviation, owned by Don and Amy Mensen, to run the day-to-day operations of the airport. Carroll Aviation offers twin engine charter service, jet fuel, mechanical services, and flight instruction. View more information on the Carroll Aviation website.
