This month our Evening Book Club will be doing something a little different – we will be participating in the NEA Big Read in Carroll by reading Great Tales and Poems of Edgar Allan Poe. Join fellow community members to explore Poe’s memorable characters, dark themes, language, and enduring influence while sharing your own thoughts.
Pick up your free copy of the book at the Carroll Public Library, attend one of our theatrical performances at the Carroll Rec Center, discuss the book story by story or in a different setting, and earn a NEA Big Read in Carroll shirt throughout the month. See the program guide for a list of all the Edgar Allan Poe events being offered throughout October!
