Meeting Room and Study Rooms

Meeting Room  ​

The Carroll Public Library has a community meeting room available to:

• Non-profit corporations—defined as those entities granted tax-exempt status by the IRS under section 501 (c)(3) or other tax exempt sections of the Internal Revenue Code.​
• Non-profit citizen’s groups—not-for-profit community groups including but not limited to youth groups, school/educational groups, homeowner associations, and civic groups.
• Governmental subdivisions—or a department/division of a governmental subdivision.
• Political committees—as defined by the Iowa Code 68A.102(18)
• Candidate campaign committees—as defined in Iowa Code 68A.102(5)
• For-profit entities—defined as those entities exist primarily to make a profit.
• Private parties—groups including but not limited to parties, showers, and a variety of personal events.

Information

• ​The room seats 40 at 10 tables or 50 seated theater style.
• Fees will apply for private entities and for-profit groups.
• Room amenities: Projector, projector screen, and DVD/Blu-Ray player. HDMI, USB and VGA hookups are available.
• A meeting room application must be submitted and approved by library staff for room reservations.

Study Rooms

The Carroll Public Library has 6 study rooms for use free of charge to patrons.

The study rooms we have available are:

• Study room A—seats 5 individuals in a room with a door. Amenities: table, chairs, webcam, TV monitor, HDMI hookup, whiteboard
• Study room B— seats 4 individuals in a room with a door. Amenities: lounge chairs, small table, webcam, TV monitor, HDMI hookup, whiteboard
• Study room C—seats 5 individuals in a room with a door. Amenities: table, chairs, webcam, TV monitor, HDMI hookup, whiteboard
• Study room F—seats 5 individuals in a room with a door. Amenities: table, chairs, whiteboard
• Study room G— seats 2 individuals in a room with no door. Amenities: lounge chairs, small end table
• Study room H—seats 2 individuals in a room with no door. Amenities: table, chairs
