Edgar Allan Poe Art Exhibit Opening Reception: Sept. 25
As part of our NEA Big Read in Carroll program, we will be hosting an opening reception for the Edgar Allan Poe-themed art exhibit, “Quoth the Artists.”
Step into the mysterious world of Edgar Allan Poe through the eye of local artists. Inspired by Poe’s haunting stories and poetry, and enduring themes of mystery, suspense, love, and the macabre, this exhibit invites artists from Western Iowa to interpret Poe’s work through their own creative lens. This exhibit celebrates the lasting influence of one of America’s most iconic literary figures and offers visitors a visual journey into the dark and imaginative world of Edgar Allan Poe.
Meet the artists, check out the artwork which will be on display in the library throughout the month of October, and get inspired to read and discuss Edgar Allan Poe in our NEA Big Read in Carroll program!
