These blinks are available in e-book or e-audio formats, so you can listen to or read quick summaries of trending books – 15 minutes or less. Why is a library offering you a service that allows you to access thousands of book summaries instead of encouraging you to check out the book?
- Maybe non-fiction isn’t your genre, but you want to have at least a little knowledge about the newest and hottest titles – this is perfect for you! You will come away with the main takeaways in a fraction of the time it would take to read the unabridged version.

Log in at https://blinkist.libraryideas.com to create an account.
- Search for the Carroll Public Library by library name, zip code, or city.
- Select the Carroll Public Library.
- Enter your library card number.
- Click Activate Library Subscription.
- Create an account with your email and go through the setup process. They will ask you about books you have read/want to read and themes that you are interested in.
