Reminder: Sunday, August 17 is the last day of the 2025 Season!

Thank You for an Amazing Summer at the Aquatic Center!

As we wrap up a fantastic 2025 summer season, we want to thank YOU for being a part of it! Here’s what you need to know for our final week:

Final Week Pool Hours:
Mon–Thurs (Aug 11–14): 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Fri (Aug 15): CLOSED due to limited lifeguard availability
Sat–Sun (Aug 16–17): 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Last Day of the Season: Sunday, August 17

Important Notice:
The REC Indoor Pool Area will be closed Aug 16–17 due to staffing. REC memberships will be accepted at the Aquatic Center this weekend!

Thank you again for your support — we hope to see you for one last splash this week!

Adjusted Aquatic Center Hours (Beginning Aug 4)
Monday–Friday:
11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Saturday & Sunday: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Why the change? It’s that time of year — many of our awesome guards are heading back to college or gearing up for fall sports. Our full-time staff is stepping in where we can, but some days we’re down to just one or two guards.

To keep everyone safe, we’re adjusting hours and may have limited pool access or occasional last-minute changes. We’ll continue to update you as things shift.

Swim Band Policy Reminder

As we welcome the warm weather and busy swim days, here’s an important reminder about our Swim Band Policy to keep all our young swimmers safe:

🔴 RED BAND: Children must be within ARM’S REACH of a parent, guardian, or responsible person (16+) at all times.

🟡🟣 YELLOW & PURPLE BANDS: Children under 10 must be kept in direct sight by a parent, guardian, or responsible person (16+).

🚫 Failure to follow these rules may result in being asked to leave the facility.

These guidelines help prevent accidents and ensure a fun, safe summer for everyone. Thank you for doing your part!

Please note:
Swimming and water safety skills must be maintained. If a lifeguard observes that a swimmer is not demonstrating the required skills for their band level (such as swimming or treading water), the swimmer may be asked to retake the swim test or may have their band level adjusted for safety.

Participation on a swim team does not automatically qualify a child for a purple band. All swimmers must pass the designated swim test to earn a band.
