Swim Band Policy Reminder

As we welcome the warm weather and busy swim days, here’s an important reminder about our Swim Band Policy to keep all our swimmers safe:

🔴 RED BAND: Children must be within ARM’S REACH of a parent, guardian, or responsible person (16+) also wearing a red band at all times.

🟡🟣 YELLOW & PURPLE BANDS: Children under 10 must be kept in direct sight by a parent, guardian, or responsible person (16+).

🚫 Failure to follow these rules may result in being asked to leave the facility.

These guidelines help prevent accidents and ensure a fun, safe summer for everyone. Thank you for doing your part!

Please note:
Swimming and water safety skills must be maintained. If a lifeguard observes that a swimmer is not demonstrating the required skills for their band level (such as swimming or treading water), the swimmer may be asked to retake the swim test or may have their band level adjusted for safety.

Participation on a swim team does not automatically qualify a child for a purple band. All swimmers must pass the designated swim test to earn a band.
