Carroll Highlights

Nine Square Feet is a registered 501(c)3 community organization based in West Des Moines and serving central Iowa, supporting the success of a diverse network of backyard food producers by facilitating the sharing of seeds, transplants, and gardening resources. Their annual Seed Swap and Giveaway event brings together hundreds of excited gardeners of all ages. Since 2016, they have distributed more than 60,000 seed packets and garden transplants as well as hundreds of pounds of homegrown produce. Through gardening, Nine Square Feed fosters stronger, more connected, compassionate and caring communities.

This event is taking place across the state to share a love of gardening and support home gardens. This will be the third year that the Carroll Public Library is participating, and you can be a part of that, too! Each adult attendee can select FIVE free seed packets (children under 12 select TWO free packets).
