Rosie the Riveters was the nickname given to the women who worked in factories duringWWII. Iowa Historian Linda McCann spoke to thirty-five Iowa women who were Rosies and shares their memories and stories.
Linda is the author of non-fiction on Iowa history, including: Prisoners of War in Iowa; Prohibition in Iowa; several books about the Civilian Conservation Corps in different areas of Iowa; and The Vanished Towns of the Cedar Valley series. She will have copies of all her books for sale. They sell for $20 each and she can only take cash or checks.
