Communications for the Carroll Police Department are provided by the Carroll City/County Communications Center, which is governed by the Carroll City/County Communications Commission. The members of the Commission are appointed, two by the City of Carroll and three by the Carroll County Board of Supervisors.
The communications center provides central communications functions for the Carroll Police Department, the Carroll County Sheriff’s Department, the Coon Rapids Police Department, the Manning Police Department, the Carroll County Ambulance Service, all County first responders, and all fire departments within Carroll County.
